On March 27, the Russian-backed militants fired at Ukraine's positions. The enemy used the Minsk-banned weaponry six times in the Donbas conflict zone. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this on Facebook.
In the East operational group action zone, the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Opytne, Hnutove, and Chermalyk settlements.
In the North group area, the enemy attacked our positions near Luhanske, Novooleksandrivka, and Krymske villages.
According to the report, the Russia-backed militants fired with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, heavy machine guns, small arms and grenade launchers of various systems.
“No casualties among the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been spotted. The Ukrainian soldiers stopped the attack by opening fire as well. The casualties of the Russian military have been checking yet,” the report said.
Earlier, March 26, pro-Kremlin occupants have shelled Ukrainian outposts 14 times.
In Donetsk region, the enemy attacked Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodyane, Lebedynske, Kamyanka, and Mariinka. The Russian mercenaries used small arms, heavy machine guns, stationary and under-barrel grenade launchers.
In Luhansk region, the militants fired mortars of various calibers and anti-tank missile launchers. BMP-1, infantry fighting vehicle, and 120 mm mortars were used in the attack on Novoluhanske.
