Day in Donbas: Russia violates ceasefire regime seven times, three Ukrainian soldiers wounded

The Russian militants attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas conflict zone 7 times today on March 20. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this on Facebook.

“Since the beginning of the day, the enemy fired our positions seven times, five times they used the Minsk-banned weaponry, in particular, 39 shells of 120 mm and 82 mm…Three our soldiers were wounded because of the attack”, - the report said.

Besides, it should be noted that, in the East operational group action zone, the enemy fired with: automatic easel grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Lebedynske settlement, and with sniper weaponry near Mirinka town.  

In the North group area, the enemy attacked our positions: twice with 120 mm and 82 mm mortar near Novoluhanske settlement, with 82 mortar near Pshchane and Sataryi Aidar villages, with 120 mm mortar and the infantry fighting vehicle BMP-1 near Troitske village.

“The attacked subdivisions stopped the fire by opening fire as well. The casualties among the Russian militias have been checking yet. The situation in the Joint Forces operation is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, - the report said.
