On March 22, one Ukrainian serviceman died and one was wounded as a result of the hostile attack in Donbas conflict zone. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this on Facebook.
The Russian militants violated the ceasefire regime six times; they also used Minsk-banned weaponry five times over 24 hours. The enemy used 63 mines of 120 mm and 82 mm calibers. A sniper has been spotted as well.
Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped the attack by opening fire as well. The casualties among the Russian militants are still being checked.
The situation in the Joint Forces Operation area is under control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, one of the Ukrainian defenders lost his life in combat in Donbas.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas seven times. Zolote-1, Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka, Zolote-5, Vilny farmstead, Zolote-4, Pivdenne, Krymske, and Stanytsia Luhanska came under fire in Luhansk region. The enemy used anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian-backed militants have performed 11 attacks. The enemy used Minsk-banned weapons, including 82mm and 120mm mortars. 74 shells and five guided missiles were fired against our military in total.
