The Russian-backed militants opened fire in the Donbas conflict zone two times on March 13. The Ministry of Defense reported this on its website.  

Russian-backed militants fired with anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near Avdiivka settlement, they used sniper weaponry near Marinka village.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded because of the attack.

The servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped the fire by shooting back. The Russian casualties have been checking yet.

The situation in the Joint Forces operation is under control of the Ukrainian militants.

As we reported earlier, the UN Monitoring Mission recorded 55 civilian deaths in Donbas in 2018. During November 16, 2018 – February 15, 2019, the smallest number of victims among the civilians was recorded over the entire conflict period. In particular, a man and a woman died, 11 men and three women were injured.
