November 16, Donbas militants 15 times violated the ceasefire. One Ukrainian soldier died as a result of the attacks, the press center of Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported on Facebook.

Ukrainian forces near Starohnativka, Hnutove, Maryinka, and Pavlopil fell under hostile shelling. Militants also fired on our positions near Mayorsk, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Popasna, Zaitseve, and Krymske.

According to the JFO, the illegal armed forces used 120 and 82 mm caliber mortars, prohibited by the Minsk agreements, BMP armored vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms, including heavy machine guns. Ukrainian side also reports about hostile snipers’ attack against its positions.  

"As a result of the shelling, one soldier of the United Forces was killed," the report reads.

As we reported before, November 16, OSCE recorded 195 explosions in eastern Ukraine. The OSCE reported it in its daily update. 95 explosions were observed in the Donetsk region, and about 100 explosions were recorded in the Luhansk region
