Day in Donbas: One Ukrainian soldier dead, three wounded in combat

Over the past 24 hours, Russian armed gangs violated the ceasefire in Donbas 16 times. That resulted in lethal injuries for one Ukrainian serviceman; another three were wounded but survived. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on early July 8. 

The enemy opened fire in Donetsk region ten times. The skirmishes took place in Shyrokyne, Bohdanivka, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka and Pishchevik. The occupants used tanks, IFVs, anti-tank grenade launchers, small arms and heavy machine guns.

In Luhansk region, the armed mercenaries opened fire six times. 82 mm mines hit Novoluhanske; 120 mm mines landed in Popasna and Zolote-4. Anti-tank missiles hit Mayorske. In Pivdenne, the enemy fired 82 and 120 mm mines, anti-tank missiles, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
