On September 2, Russian occupants opened fire on Ukrainian positions in Donbas four times. One Ukrainian fighter was injured in action, reports press office of the HQ of Joint Forces Operation

"Four violations of the ceasefire occurred since the beginning of the day, September 2", reads the message.

In the vicinities of Zolote-3, the enemy fired from stationary anti-tank and automatic mounted grenade launchers, as well as from heavy machine guns and small arms.

120 mm mines hit the vicinities of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. The enemy also opened fire from 100 mm artillery not far from Krashnohorivka.

Earlier, the Russian Federation has stated that it will not support the continuation of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's mission on the Russian border; the OSCE Mission has been working at these points since July 29, 2014.

Previously, Russia criticized US plans to provide military assistance to Ukraine on the bases of a belief that this could provoke an escalation in Donbas.
