Ukraine's government troops in Donbas sustained combat casualties again. One fighter deceased, and two more were wounded in action, as the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.
On September 17, Russian occupants attacked their positions in the war zone five times, using 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
In Donetsk region, the enemy attacked Novotroitske, Vodyane and Pavlopol.
In Luhansk region, illegal armed gangs opened fire in Zalizne and Holubovske.
UN Monitoring Mission for Human Rights released a report, which said that eight civilians perished and another 60 were wounded in Donbas since May 16 till August 15.
According to the mission, 56 unarmed locals were wounded during artillery attacks and skirmishes, where small arms and light weaponry was used, too.
46 attacks were reported on the territories held by the armed groups of Russian occupants.
