On March 29, the Russian-backed militants fired at Ukraine's positions 10 times. The enemy used the Minsk-banned weaponry in the Donbas conflict zone seven times. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this on Facebook.
In Donetsk region, the enemy attacked Shyrokyne, Vodiane and Lebedynske settlements.
In Luhansk region, the enemy attacked Troitske, Novoolexandrivka, Zolote-4 and Zaytseve villages.
According to the report, the militants fired with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers, a BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle, automatic easel and manual anti-tank grenade launchers.
“One Ukrainian soldier of the Joint Forces operation died and two more were wounded as a result of the attack. The Ukrainian soldiers stopped the attack by opening fire as well. The casualties of the Russian military are being checked yet,” the report said.
On March 28, Russian occupants attacked the outposts of Ukrainian forces in Donbas four times. No casualties among government troops were observed over the mentioned period.
