Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime 11 times in the Donbas combat zone on April 22. As a result of the attack, one Ukrainian soldier died and one more wounded. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported this on Facebook.
“No casualties have been spotted among the Joint Forces operation soldiers. The enemy’s casualties have been checking,” the report said.
The enemy opened fire at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Minsk-banned weaponry – 82 mm mortar.
The Joint Forces operation still control the situation.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky, who, according to the exit poll, wins presidential elections in Ukraine, announced a “strong media war” to cease fire in Donbas, as he said during the press conference.
“We will conduct media war to end the war in Donbas. We will invite journalists and bloggers. We showed what we can. We have creative ideas and we need your help,” he said.
