Earlier in Kharkiv, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine detained the DNR militant, who moved to Ukraine and wanted to regain the previously lost Ukrainian documents. The press office of Security Service reported that on Facebook.

In early 2019, the man decided to move to Ukraine for permanent residence. He tried to get a duplicate of his documents, which he allegedly lost. However, the SSU staff found that in February 2015, the militant lived in the territory of the occupied Horlivka and joined the illegal DNR armed group.

There, the detainee received the call sign "Coob" and served in the "military intelligence of Novorossiya". The man was actively involved in the fight against the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Law enforcers searched the apartment of the man and found a RGD-5 grenade and a 400-gram TNT charge. A criminal case was opened on the facts of his involvement in 'DNR terrorist group'.
