Day in Donbas: Occupant violated ceasefire regime five times, one Ukrainian soldier wounded

The Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime five times today, May 17. The Joint Forces operation HQ reports this.

In Donetsk region, the occupants opened fire at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice. They used the automatic easel grenade launchers near Novotroitske settlement, and with heavy machine guns and small arms near Hnutove village.

“In Luhansk region, the enemy fired three times. They opened fire with 122 mm artillery system twice near Zolote-4 settlement, and with grenade launchers of the various system near Krymske village,” the report said.

As a result of the attack, one serviceman of the Joint Forces operation was wounded.

As we reported earlier, Russian militants attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 14 times. The enemy opened fire with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, anti-tank missile complexes, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms. 

No casualties among the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been recorded.
