On March 31, Russian mercenaries did not breach the ceasefire in Donbas combat area. The press office of Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Wednesday.

"No ceasefire violations were observed along the entire division line," reads the message.

During the day, Ukrainian combat engineers cleared three hectares of the area from landmines and passed 116 explosive items for further safe destruction.

As we reported earlier, spokesperson of Russia's President Vladimir Putin, Dmitriy Peskov stated that Kremlin fears the renewal of the war in Ukraine.

“We express concern due to the rising tensions and reiterate our concern that anyway the Ukrainian side might take provocative actions that lead to the war. Of course, we would not like to see it. I mean the war that has already taken place there,” he told the journalists.

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak stated that Russia gathers tactical forces from its western and southern regions and brings them close to the Ukrainian border.
