Day in Donbas: No ceasefire violations during 24 hours

On January 20, Russian mercenaries did not breach the ceasefire in Donbas combat area. Press office of Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Wednesday.

"No ceasefire violations were observed along the entire division line," reads the message.

During the day, Ukrainian combat engineers cleared two hectares of area from landmines and passed 40 explosive items for firther safe destruction.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine proposed to develop a Joint Action Plan on Donbas during a meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group (TCG).

During the meeting of the political subgroup, its coordinator, Ambassador P. Morel, presented his analysis of the proposals of the Ukrainian and Russian sides on further steps to resolve the conflict (Ukrainian "Joint Action Plan" and the Russian side's comments). The Ukrainian delegation proposed to develop a single draft document that would include proposals from both sides and the OSCE moderator. The issues discussed today will be the subject of further consideration during the general meeting of the TCG on January 21," reads the message.
