Since the beginning of March 26, Russian mercenaries attacked positions of Ukrainian troops in Donbas four times. The enemy used the weaponry of Minsk-banned calibers. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Thursday evening.
In Donetsk region, the enemy opened fire in Talakivka, Pavlopil and Slavne. Multiple mines of various calibers hit Pavlopil. In Talakivka, armed gangs fired from grenade launchers; in Slavne, they used heavy machine guns and automatic grenade launchers.
In Luhansk region, Russian militants fired 82 mm mortars, shelling the vicinities of Luhanske.
No casualties were reported among the Ukrainian military.
As we reported earlier, the European Union stated about the importance of the unhindered access of the OSCE SMM to areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that are uncontrolled by Ukraine.
“It is crucial that Russia and the armed formations that it backs allow the OSCE SMM, UN agencies, non-governmental organizations and the ICRC freedom of movement across the contact line,” the message said.
