One of Ukrainian fighters sustained a fatal wound. According to the message of the Joint Forces Command, it was a bullet injury. The staff expressed deep condolences to the family and close people of the fallen warrior.
Earlier, Ihor Boiko, Director of Civilian Protection, Mobilization and Defense Events of Donetsk Regional State Administration said that checkpoints at the contact line with occupied areas of Donbas will stay close until June 22. He underlined that currently, the mitigations for the crossing of the checkpoints are not provided. Moreover, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the red mode remains in forces; it provides extra authorities for law enforcers and militaries.
As we reported, a civilian woman was injured upon stepping on a landmine in Donbas combat area, as she was trying to cross the disengagement line, bypassing the checkpoint. The woman survived and was taken to a hospital.
