Day in Donbas: Militaries open fire 24 times, one Ukrainian soldier dies

Over the last 24 hours, pro-Russian militaries violated the set truce 24 times in the Joint Forces Operation area. One serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died as the HQ of the Joint Forces reports on its Facebook page. 

"As a result of the enemy shellings, a member of the Joint Forces has got injuries incompatible with life," says the message.

The illegal armed formations opened fire 12 times in Donetsk region. The mercenaries shelled the positions of Ukrainian soldiers three times in Vodiane using infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms. Anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade and small arms were used to open fire twice in the direction of Bohdanivka. Russian occupants attacked Pavlopil and Pishchevyk using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. The enemy used small arms and automatic grenade launchers to shell the positions of Ukraine's Armed Forces in Avdiivka, Marinka, Novotroitske and Lebedynske.

Russian militaries opened fire 12 times in Luhansk region. 

Novoluhanske and Luhanske were shelled using mortars, small arms and grenade launchers of various systems. The invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainian soldiers near Yuzhne with the mortar, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers and small arms. Novozvanivka and Novotoshkivske were shelled with rocket-propelled grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy attacked Travneve using mortars. 

The HQ noted that since the beginning of Saturday, September 28, the militants have violated the set ceasefire 6 times. The illegal military formations attacked the positions of Ukrainian fighters in Marinka, Lebedynske, Vodiane and Pavlopil. 

The militaries of the Russian Federation attacked Novoluhanske in Luhansk region as well.
