Day in Donbas: Militants violated truce 10 times

Terrorists used mortars, grenade launchers, and also a sniper worked in Donbas conflict zone

During the day of December 2, pro-Russian militants violated the ceasefire 10 times in Donbas conflict. This was reported in the press center of the antiterrorist operation headquarters in Facebook.

It is reported that in the Luhansk direction the terrorists fired about two dozen of 120-mm mines in the vicinity of Luhanske, Troitske and Zolote settlements.

"On the Donetsk direction of 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, the enemy was attacking the fortifications of the Ukrainian forces near Vodyane and Talakivka during the day. From the grenade launchers the enemy broke the truce in the suburb of Avdiivka, and in the Krasnohorivka area our defenders got under the sniper fire," said in the report.

Earlier it was reported that as a result of shelling of the settlement of Verkhnetoretskoe, a 31-year-old woman was injured. According to the Defense Ministry, over the past day, militants have violated the truce 26 times. As a result of the fighting, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another one was injured.

Earlier the OSCE SMM recorded more cease-fire violations in Donetsk region, while in Luhansk region, none were spotted, according to their report as of 7:30 pm on Nov.30.

“In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded more ceasefire violations, including, however, fewer explosions (about 100), compared with the previous reporting period (about 110 explosions),” the mission notes.

“In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded no ceasefire violations during the reporting period,” stated in the message.
