Since the beginning of this day in Donbas, militants have fired at the positions of the Ukrainian military three times, while not using weapons of prohibited calibers. The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters reports.

In the area of ​​the settlement Vodyane, militants fired at Ukrainian positions with hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms; near the Pivdenne - with automatic easel grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.

During the shelling of positions near Novomykhaylivka, the militants used hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers. With their help, they mined Ukrainian positions with three POM-2 antipersonnel mines.

"The Ukrainian defenders did not return fire. There are no casualties due to enemy shelling. A healthy atmosphere reigns in military units and units of the Joint Forces," the message says.

As we reported before, it is important for both sides to observe the ceasefire in Donbas, but Russia cannot act as a guarantor of the ceasefire.

He also added that the ceasefire is a significant step towards strengthening mutual trust and defusing tensions on the line of contact.
