Since the beginning of the day, September 24, Russian mercenaries violated the ceasefire in Donbas seven times using mortars of calibers prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation on Facebook.
The enemy opened fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and prohibited mortars of 82 mm and 120 mm caliber near Novoluhanske. They also fired from small arms and heavy anti-tank grenade launchers near Svitlodarsk and Zolote-4.
Not far from Lebedynske and Vodyane, the enemy conducted numerous attacks from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
Also, near Vodyane and Shyrokyne, they used two UAVs to drop VOG-17.
There are no casualties among the Ukrainian armed forces.
Meanwhile, the deterioration of the situation with human rights in Donbas is observed since February 1 until July 31, 2021, in comparison with the previous six months.
Particularly, the observers of the UN monitoring mission spotted 62 victims of attacks among the civilians during the reporting period – 15 deceased and 47 wounded. It is by 51% more than during the previous six months.
Besides, two people died and 14 were wounded from July 31 until September 20 as a result of the combat actions in the east of Ukraine. The rates for August and September 2021 are the highest since June 2020.
