Day in Donbas: Militants violate ceasefire despite truce agreement

Since the beginning of the day, Donbas militants violated the ceasefire, set on July 21, for five times. The illegal military formations used the prohibited weapons – the mortar of 82 calibers, as well as grenade launchers of different systems and small arms. This was reported by the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).

The Russian-backed rebels shelled Ukraine's positions in Donetsk region five times. Pisky, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne were attacked by the enemy.

No casualties among Ukrainians were reported.

As it was reported earlier, on Wednesday, July 31, Russian armed mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas once. According to the Joint Operation Forces HQ, they opened fire in the vicinities of Pisky, Donetsk region. The enemy used an under-barrel grenade launcher.

We recall that 11,0000 consumers left without water in the Donetsk region. On July 30, rain and wind gusts caused blackout on Donetsk pumping station. Repair scheduled for July 31.
