In the area of hostilities, pro-Russian militants violated ceasefire 23 times over the past day, on September 24. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another one injured, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reports on their Facebook page.

According to the Operation of the Joint Forces headquarters, the illegal armed groups shelled positions of Ukrainian military men from 82 mm mortar launchers prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as from grenade launchers of various systems, sniper and small arms.

The enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Maryinka, Hnutove, Novoselivka II, Pavlopil, Krasnohorivka, Vodyaney, and Pyshchevyk.

In the area of responsibility of the "North" operational-tactical group, militants shelled Ukrainian positions near Travneve, Luhanske, Krymske, Zaytseve, Novoluhanske, and Troitske.

"Over the past day, as a result of enemy shelling, one soldier of Joint Forces died, another one wounded," the report said.
