Day in Donbas: Russian mercenaries opened fire four times

Since the beginning of the day in Donbas, militants have violated the ceasefire four times. The enemy used 120 mm caliber mortars prohibited by Minsk agreements. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that on April 27.

Occupants fired at positions of the Joint Forces near Maryinka, Donetsk region.

In Luhansk region, the mercenaries opened fire three times. They fired at the Ukrainian military positions near Katerynivka, using mounted anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

Grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns were used against the Ukrainian forces near Krymske village. Near Pivdenne, the enemy opened fire from automatic mounted grenade launchers.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were injured. No new cases of coronavirus infection among the staff were recorded.

As we reported before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the heads of state discussed the situation in both countries in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the situation in the Donbas and the reforms carried out in our country.
