On November 5, Russian mercenaries landed five attacks on positions of Ukrainian defenders in Donbas combat area. As a result of the shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation on Facebook.
In particular, near Bolotne, Krymske and Luhanske, the occupiers fired 82 mm mortars.
In the vicinities of Lebedynske, the enemy fired from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and other small arms.
One member of the Joint Forces was wounded as a result of the shelling. The soldier was evacuated to a hospital. His health condition is satisfactory.
Meanwhile, veteran of Donbas war who passed the Battle of Ilovaisk and spent 119 days in militants’ captivity, Yuriy Dosyak died at the age of 37 from coronavirus as Lviv center for the provision of services to combatants.
“With deep sadness, we inform you that this morning, Yuriy Dosyak, a participant in the hostilities, has passed away. Yura is a volunteer fighter of the Donbas battalion, survived in Ilovaisk, returned from captivity…But, unfortunately, here the disease turned out to be stronger…We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends,” the center wrote.
