Meanwhile, the Estonian authorities are seriously concerned about the buildup of Russian troops along the border with Ukraine. Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets stated this in an interview with DW.

"It is important for us that there is no further escalation of the military conflict that we have been witnessing in Ukraine for eight years," Limets said.

The Foreign Minister also stressed that NATO, of which Estonia is a member, provides its country with security guarantees, which Ukraine lacks.
