In Luhansk region, the enemy shelled Pivdenne, using 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Next to Katerynivka, occupants opened fire from grenade launchers.
In Donetsk region, the militants fired grenade launchers while attacking Vodyane. In the vicinities of Hnutove, pro-Kremlin mercenaries opened fire from heavy machine guns and small arms.
No casualties have been observed among Ukrainian troops.
Ceasefire has been observed all over combat area since the early morning of December 14.
241 Ukrainian citizens are now held captive in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass. Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova announced this on Facebook.
“I held a working meeting with the British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons ... she informed that 241 Ukrainian citizens are held captive in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass", Denisova said.
The Ombudsman also asked the ambassador to influence the International Committee of the Red Cross so that they strengthen their position regarding admission to the uncontrolled territories.
