A soldier from the Czech Republic, who served at airborne battalion, is accused of separatism in Donbas in 2015. A man denies participation in the combat actions as Novinky.cz reported.
A 35-year-old Eric Estu came to the territories of Ukraine controlled by occupants in 2015. He stayed there for three weeks. The Prosecutor’s Office accuses him in the terrorism. According to the body, he stayed in the trenches with the militants and help them in weapon maintenance, shelled the Ukrainian positions during this time. It is confirmed by photo and video published on his Facebook page. The Prosecutor states that Eric wears the Russian military uniform with militants’ patches and hold a weapon on these photos.
Eric Estu denies holding of the combat actions in Donbas. He states that he went to these territories as a tourist to know more about the birthplace of his wife and visit his old friend Andriy Usov. Eric states that he bought the Russian uniform when he was at Prague and original patches were bought from the separatists.
Eric and his friend Andriy were walking in the city and communicating with the occupants. The friends wanted to make a photo during the communication with the militants and took AK-47 and grenade launcher for a picture. A man states that he did not participate in the combat actions. Eric states that he shot from the rifle but just for interest and in the destroyed house.
As we reported, Russian occupants have opened fire on two education establishments in Donbas.
Earlier two Ukrainian soldiers were injured in Donbas combat zone. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupation troops performed seven attacks. They used Minsk-banned weapons twice, including 82mm mortars and 122mm artillery.
