Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians who stand in solidarity with them held a rally at “Chongar” checkpoint at the administrative border with Crimea. This was reported by Ukraine’s Border Guard Service assistant head Oleh Slobodyan in his comment for 112 Ukraine TV channel.
As of now, the situation at the checkpoint is under control, according to him. In total six thousand people and 970 vehicles crossed the checkpoint during the past 24 hours.
“The situation at the administrative border is stable and is under control. There have no provocations from Russian Armed Forces since yesterday. In general, almost six thousand people and 970 vehicles crossed the checkpoint during the past 24 hours,” Slobodyan reported.
