Crimean Court continues arrest of Mejlis Deputy Head

Occupation authorities accused Chiygoz of “organizing mass riots” on February 26, 2014

The Court in the occupied Crimea prolonged arrest of the Deputy Head of Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz till April 8, 2017. This was reported by his lawyer Nikolai Polozov in Twitter.

"Crimean judges extended period of detention to Akhtem Chiygoz for 3 months from January 8, 2017 to to April 8, 2017," he announced.

Recall that the Deputy Head of Mejlis Akhtem Chyigoz was arrested on January 29, 2015.

Earlier it was reported that Simferopol court extends detention period for Asanov, Degermenji. The Crimean Tatars, detained by Russian law enforcers in 2014, will stay in detention until January 2017.
