Ordzhonikidzevsky district court of Mariupol sentenced "DPR" militant, who blew up the vehicle near checkpoint in Mariupol on November 2, 2014, to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property in absentia. This was reported on the website of Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

It was proven during the hearing that the militant, acting by prior conspiracy with the representatives of Russian Security Services and members of sabotage-reconnaissance group "Svat" of "DPR" terrorist organization, has prepared the explosive and placed it in "IZH-2515" vehicle, which blew up at the checkpoint of ATO forces.

Two National Guard officers were killed as a result of terrorist act, two more got injured.
