Commander of the 128th Separate Mechanized Brigade Yevhen Korostelyov died of injuries at Kharkiv Military Medical Clinical Center this morning. The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported this on Facebook.
“The heart of Colonel Yevhen Korostelyov, commander of 128th Separate Mechanized Brigade, stopped beating today, around 4 a.m. at the Kharkiv Military Medical Clinical Center,” the message reads.
The combat officer suffered grievous injuries on November 12 while completing missions in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. Yevhen Korostelyov was wounded near Novotroitske while tour around the frontline area. He and another officer were killed in land mine blast.
Earlier it was reported, Donbas occupants violated the ceasefire regime 14 times by using 82-mm mortars, grenade/rocket launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. In the area of responsibility of the tactical group "East" invaders carried out seven shellings.
