A civilian, who received injuries during the shelling, died in one of the villages in the Donetsk region. This was stated by Oleh Morgun, a self-proclaimed chairman of the illegally created Novoazovsk area in temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region, as media DAN reports.
"The shelling took place the night before. Two civilians, a man born in 1963 and a woman born in 1964, were wounded by shrapnel. Both were hospitalized in the local hospital," Morgun said.
According to the media, the woman underwent surgery on her lumbar region but could not be saved.
It is noted that the shelling took place near the village of Kominternove (the official Ukrainian name is Pikuzy), however, according to the report of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, there were no shellings that day.
