Russia is preparing for increased fighting in Donbas. This was reported by Viktor Muzhenko, the Chief of the General Staff and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"This is no joke. Recent events of the past two weeks are a clear illustration of Russia’s preparation for intensification of hostilities in Donbas," he wrote on Twitter.
As it was reported earlier, Trilateral Contact Group has agreed on ceasefire regime starting from April 1 due to Easter holidays period. Additionally, the date for disengagement in Stanytsia Luhanska was once again established, this time for April 6.
Ministy of Defense also announced that they are ready to cease fire starting from April 1.
Defense Ministry speaker also informed today that militants violated ceasefire regime in Donbas 12 times since midnight.
