Checkpoints at the contact line with occupied areas of Donbas will stay close until June 22, as Ihor Boiko, the Director of Civilian Protection, Mobilization, and Defense Events of Donetsk Regional State Administration reported.
“The Commander of the Joint Forces issued the order that the ban for crossing will last until 23:59 on June 22 if there are no other orders before this time,” Boiko said.
He underlined that currently, the mitigations for the crossing of the checkpoints are not provided. Moreover, in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the red mode remains in forces; it provides extra authorities for law enforcers and militaries.
As we reported, a civilian woman was injured upon stepping on a landmine in the Donbas combat area, as she was trying to cross the disengagement line, bypassing the checkpoint.
