Militants opened fire on Ukrainian positions 10 times in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone at night, ceasefire regime is tentative. This was reported on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel by the speaker of ATO HQ press center.
"Enemy fired on our positions 10 times since midnight till now (8 a.m. — 112 International). Militants mostly attacked Donetsk and Mariupol direction. Shelling was conducted with the use of small arms mainly. However, our defenders near Luhanske were attacked with 120 and 82 mm mortars," he noted.
At the same time, he stressed that Ukrainian military officers did not return fire.
"This is a tentative truce. However, if the enemy uses heavy weaponry, some aims will possibly be reached," he added.
As it was reported earlier, Trilateral Contact Group has agreed on ceasefire regime starting from April 1 due to Easter holidays period. Additionally, the date for disengagement in Stanytsia Luhanska was once again established, this time for April 6.
