Donetsk region was visited by representatives by the Parliament Committee for Foreign Affairs of Great Britain, led by the head of the Committee Crispin Blunt. The aim of the visitors was to prepare a detailed report to the British Parliament about the real state of affairs in the area of the Russian aggression.
This reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky.
"It is important that the British parliamentarians want to see the real state of affairs in Donbas at war. I am convinced that after a trip to the frontline territories and communication with local residents, in particular at the Zaytsevo checkpoint, they will do the obvious conclusions and will recommend to the Parliament of the United Kingdom to develop an unambiguous policy against Russia, as well as continue sanctions against it"- wrote Zhebrivsky.
He noted that "the world community finally realizes: what is happening here - it is not just Russia's aggression against Ukraine, but the war of civilizations." Zhebrivsky also stressed that "Ukraine has become a barrier, did not allow Russia to expand its aggression further to the west."
