Three servicemen of Kramatorsk unit of the State Border Guard Service were hospitalized with arc eyes due to possible use of the forbidden devices, so-called blinding lasers, by pro-Russian militants. Oleg Slobodyan, Assistant Head of the State Border Guard Service, said this at a briefing.

‘On July 18, border guards perhaps spotted another case of use of the forbidden laser weapons. Three servicemen suffered eye injuries near Maryinka town as they watched over the enemy positions through optical devices. They suffered retinal burns of various degrees of severity’, Slobodyan said.
