Participants of Donbas trade blockade in Lysychansk area claim that police is deliberately trying to provoke them and find any pretext for their detention. This was reported on Facebook by Donbas trade blockade HQ.
As the blockade representatives report, on March 3 police came to the block post. They demanded to allow access for searching the premises, however they had no legal right to do that. ATO veterans allowed two police officers to enter the room with HQ guards. According to the message, they "found nothing illegal as always".
Police also attempted to pressure blockade participants today morning, March 4. Having arrived at the redoubt, law enforcers claimed the bridge occupied by activists was allegedly mined. The unit of law enforcement officers is also on duty 24 hours a day on the opposite side of the scene. Blockade participants allowed policemen to the bridge. After careful examination, they found substance similar to TNT, grenade and ammo in the bushes — all disassembled.
Police offered ATO veterans to leave the redoubt after the inspection, blockade participants refused.
Today morning police also visited the coordinator of Blockade HQ regarding possession of firearms.
