The billboards appeared on the outskirts of occupied Sevastopol calling for recognition of the independence of so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic, as Crimea. Realities reports.
It is noted that propaganda billboards appeared in the area of the Meckenziyevi Mountains near the highway Sevastopol - Bakhchysaray - Simferopol, as well as in the village of Orlivka near the highway Sevastopol - Orlivka - Kacha. There are no billboards in Sevastopol city.
According to the information on the billboards, the propaganda were placed by the political party A Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth.
As it was reported earlier, Russia plans to hold elections to the State Duma not only in the annexed Crimea, but also in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. On March 17, the press service of Russia's Central Election Commission announced that residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who received Russian citizenship, will be able to vote in the elections to the State Duma in autumn 2021.
In addition, the spokesman for the Russian-backed separatist forces claims that Donbas residents have expressed a desire to vote in the elections to the State Duma.
