The works of the building of the gas pipeline from Ocheretyane to Avdiivka started in Donetsk Region. The front line city will be permanently supplied with gas from this gas pipeline as the Head of Donetsk Military Civilian Administration Pavlo Zhebryvsky reported at Facebook.
According to him, Avdiivka and some villages near it will not depend from the gas pipeline of the occupied territory that is regularly attacked anymore.
'We started the building of the gas pipeline of the high pressure from Ocheretyane to Avdiivka and made the marking of the laying route, the contractors begin the construction and installation activities and the first installation of the pipeline will start soon', he wrote.
Zhebryvsky noted that the building of the gas pipeline will cost 2.3 million of dollars. At the moment Avdiivka and seven villages near it are partially without gas supply.
The gas was supplied to the front-line city through Makiivka-Avdiivka gas pipeline. The part of the gas pipeline was severely damaged after the militants' attack on June 7.
The militants of the Donetsk People's Republic prevented the work holding and did not allow the maintenance crew to shut off the gas supply to the system of the occupied territory.
