Power lines in Avdiivka, Donetsk region, are still down due to the fights between Ukrainian troops and Russia-sponsored militants. Pavlo Zhebrivsky, Donetsk governor said this at a briefing.

‘The lines will not be fixed today. The militants started shelling the industrial zone in Avdiivka, then the government forces delivered a retaliatory strike; thus, the maintenance crews returned to the safe area, having failed to fix the lines,’ Zhebrivsky said.

According to him, the heating season in the living blocks will be extended until the power lines are fixed.
