Problems with electricity in Avdiivka occurred in the evening, according to Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, the Head of the Donetsk regional military and civil administration.

"Today about 8 p.m. power went out in Avdiivka again. The situation is the same in the city and at Coke Plant. Coordination center works double-time from 8 p.m. Electric generators are being prepared to provide vital infrastructure in the city with electricity. Electricity specialists are clarifying the reasons and power lines’ damage sites. The National Police is enhancing security measures in the city, while Emergency Service are preparing to establish warming centers," Zhebrivskyi informed.

He added, that all services are working according to earlier defined algorithm.

As it became known from the message of CEO of Avdiivka Coke Plant, Donetsk filtration plant was also left without electricity. Reason for that is enemy shelling.

Local law enforcement agencies are on alert due to current situation, according to the Chief of regional police Vyacheslav Abroskin.
