Avdiivka town of the Donetsk region again remains without centralized water supply because of the fighting. This is reported by the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine.

"On July 1, as a result of hostilities, a high-voltage power transmission line was damaged, which led to the cessation of power supply to the Donetsk filtering station, which provides water for the town of Avdiivka (about 22,000 inhabitants)," the report said.

It is noted that, started from the morning, there is no power supply to the Donetsk filtering station.

For the centralized water supply of the city residents, a water reserve in the city reservoir was created.

Also, the issue of carrying out repair and restoration works is being solved, and the main condition of it is the ssue of workers' safety.

We recall that in early June Avdiivka and several other settlements of the Yasynovatsky district were left without water for several days because of damage to the Donetsk filtering station.
