The intensity of the attacks at the Joint Forces positions decreased in Donbas conflict zone – the militants performed just one adjusted fire on August 30, as Dmytro Hutsulyak, the Spokesperson of the Defence Ministry, said, 112.ua reports.

However, due to the shelling, the “school ceasefire” is not fully obligated. It had to begin on August 29.

“Since midnight as at 9 am, the Ukrainian soldiers recorded one enemy’s attack. The occupants did not use heavy armament, yet they were conducting provocative attacks from grenade launchers and small arms. In particular, the enemy shot at our positions near Luhanske at night using a grenade launcher,” Hutsulyak stated.

Over the past 24 hours, on August 29, the Russian occupation troops performed 18 adjusted fires at the Joint Forces positions.

Earlier, according to the agreements of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, a “school ceasefire” began since the midnight of August 29 in Donbas.
