Two Ukrainian servicemen died as a result of Donbas militants’ attack at the vehicle in Joint Forces Operation zone, as the press office of the 36th Detached Brigade of Marine Corps reported on Facebook.
“Today, at around 11 am when Russian occupational troops were attacking at our defenders in Joint Forces Operation zone, they have cynically and intentionally hit the ambulance of our doctors with an anti-tank guided system. Two soldiers died – leading seaman Serhiy Mayboroda and sergeant Iryna Shevchenko,” the message reads.
Militants attacked an ambulance of one of the Joint Forces units. One soldier died, two more sustained wounds after an anti-tank guided missile hit the vehicle. The military doctor is in critical condition.
Joint Forces Command stressed that attack at the ambulances is a violation of the international legislation and norms of the international humanitarian law. Bloody attack at an ambulance performed by the Russian occupational units shows that militants do not observe international legal norms.
