According to him, the Ukrainian delegation proposed deleting 11 Ukrainians from the list of exchanged held persons, including several Berkuts. Representatives of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma and Presidential Advisor Ruslan Demchenko insisted on this. Representatives of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics categorically disagreed with the proposal.

The interlocutor said that the proposal of the Ukrainian delegation did not pass the signing of an interim document to comply with all requirements of the procedural cleaning. The parties decided to take a break in the negotiations on this issue for 3-4 days.
