This afternoon Donbas militants fired at the positions of Ukrainian military in Avdiivka industrial zone from large-caliber machine guns and small arms for two hours, the Ukrainian military opened fire in response. This is reported by the press center of the anti-terrorist operation headquarters on Facebook.

"The tension in the area of Avdiivka industrial zone is also not decreasing. At the day, militants fired at our fortifications from small arms and large-caliber machine guns for almost two hours, and in response our fighters opened fire," the headquarters said.

Also in the afternoon illegal armed formations twice hit by 82-mm mortar shells at Ukrainian fortifications in the Chermalyk area, which is on the seaside. Also, militants opened fire near the village of Shyrokine.

In Luhansk sector enemy used 120-millimeter caliber weapons near the Troitske settlement in Luhansk region.
