Artillery shells, anti-tank missiles hit Ukrainian positions in Donbas

Over the past 24 hours, pro-Kremlin militants used artillery and anti-tank missiles to attack Ukrainian military emplacements in the combat area in eastern Ukraine. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported this on Facebook.

'In the morning, occupants used 122 mm artillery to attack our positions in the area of Vodyane. 82 mm mortars were used during the attacks on outposts near Luhanske and Novoluhanske. In Zolote, the enemy fired anti-tank missile launchers,' reads the message.

On October 8, 26 enemy attacks were reported. Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in action; all of them ended up in hospitals. 'The occupants applied 120mm mortars firing at the positions of the Armed Forces near Krymske, Luhanske, Vodyane, and Lebedynske. The defence works of our troops near Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, and Travneve came under 82mm mortars fire. The defenders of Shyrokyne were shot at by ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mount. The occupants conducted fire from IFV at the defenders of Novotoshkivske, Troitske, Vodyane, and Lebedynske,' the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation reported.
