Arms cache in Luhansk region, April 2021

Workers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) revealed an arms cache of Russian militants in the Luhansk region. Press office of the SBU reported that on Tuesday.

"The SBU found a stashed arsenal with weapons and ammunition that belonged to the saboteur of illegal armed formations who is on the wanted list. Among the seized stuff, [the SBU found] combat elements of Konkurs, the anti-tank missile launcher", reads the message.

The cache was hidden in the yard of a living house in Pryvillia town, Luhansk region. The arsenal included 60 rocket-propelled grenades, two anti-tank rocket-propelled grenades RPG-22, two anti-tank grenades, a hand grenade, combat elements of grenade launchers, and a large number of cartridges of various calibers.

According to the operative data, the culprit made the stash in 2014, during the combat actions in the area of Pryvillya and Lysychansk. As a member of the hostile saboteur group, the militant participated in combat actions, fighting against Ukraine's government forces. He now the official suspect as a member of an illegal military formation.
