Armed police comes to Zolote-4 where volunteers protest against disengagement of forces in Donbas

Armed fighters of the far-right National Police of Ukraine came to Zolote-4. news agency reported that 18 agents arrived there carrying machineguns. "They came allegedly to check my car as if it was suspicious. They checked it, they learned who I was, reported to their bosses and left", the agency's source said.

The police have been patrolling in Zolote-4 and Katerynivka; both settlements in the Luhansk region are under control of the Ukrainian forces.

Previously, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky came to Donbas and spent two days in Zolote. During the visit, he spoke with the Ukrainian combat veterans who came to fight against Russian occupants voluntarily and demanded to withdraw weapons from the area

Later, the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that the people in camouflage in Zolote did not belong to any law enforcement agency or the Armed Forces; therefore, they stayed there illegally.
